In collaboration with Meta’s Social Impact team, Elijah McKenzie-Jackson created three original climate action artworks, marking his inaugural art partnership with the global platform. This project emphasized the role of art in climate advocacy, using visual storytelling to engage a global audience.

The pieces were crafted through a mixed-media process, beginning with photographs shot on film, which were then hand-drawn over and rescanned. This approach combined traditional photography with expressive illustration, creating layered compositions that conveyed the urgency and complexity of the climate crisis.

Shared with Meta’s 685 million followers, these artworks sought to elevate youth-led climate advocacy, demonstrating how art can serve as a catalyst for awareness and action in the digital age.

Elijah McKenzie-Jackson reflected on the collaboration:
"Art has the power to transcend language and make complex issues more accessible. This collaboration with Meta allowed these messages to reach millions, reinforcing that creativity is not just a tool for expression but a force for change in climate justice."

By integrating art, activism, and digital engagement, this partnership highlights how visual storytelling can shape public discourse, inspire action, and create lasting impact in the fight against climate change.
