At the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 2024, Elijah McKenzie-Jackson and Chelsea Clinton came together to discuss the critical intersection of art, activism, and climate advocacy, united by the principle: “There is no art without Earth.”
In a filmed conversation, they explored how visual storytelling, and creative expression can drive climate awareness, inspire action, and advocate for a sustainable future. Both emphasized the transformative power of art, agreeing on its unique ability to connect people emotionally, mobilize communities, and amplify climate solutions on a global scale.
Demonstrating their shared commitment, they co-filmed a short clip together (selfie mode), declaring in unison: “There is no art without Earth.” This moment served as a powerful affirmation that art and activism must work hand in hand to create lasting change.
